The Indri Office Team
Adam Riley
Adam Riley

AS Managing Director of Rockjumper Birding Tours (Indri’s sister company), Adam was key in conceptualizing and founding Indri.  A decade ago Adam packed up a career in Accounting for a more adventurous life and embarked on career in Avitourism (bird-orientated tourism) and adventure travel. This has taken Adam to destinations as far flung as the forests of Cote de Ivoire and the snowy plains of Tibet. Although Adam now spends much of his time concentrating on directing both Rockjumper and Indri, his passion for guiding and wildlife ensures that he still travels to exotic places. There are few people that can claim to have traveled as far and wide as Adam and his vast travel experience is complimented by a passion for sharing wildlife experiences and a sound business knowledge.
Jenifer Goldberg
Jenifer Goldberg

Jenifer grew up on the KZN coast and developed a passion for the ocean at a young age. She completed her first dive course in 1992 at Aliwal Shoal, in the shark-rich waters off South Africa’s east coast, and has since published an informative Dive Guide to the area, with proceeds going towards WWF marine conservation. She holds a Masters degree in Chiropractic, but her passion for nature and travel ensured that she never strayed far from water working for several years as an underwater guide. Extremely likeable, excellent with people and well-organized Jen has allowed herself time out of water to begin a family and to use her people-driven skills and administrative capacities in the Indri office. She is a core member of the corollary of founders at Indri and her commitment and even temperament are a source of inspiration to us all.
Lisl Riley
Lisl Riley

Lisl was born in Pietermaritzburg and has had a lifelong interest in traveling, wildlife, art, music, culture and history.  Lisl holds an honors degree in Graphic Design and Communication and has assisted and joined many tours with her husband Adam. Lisl passes her hours in the Indri office getting great joy from creating the look and feel of Indri. The endearing Indri that we have as our logo and mascot is hers, as are the many products of dedicated design work that adorn our website, brochure and even the guides! As you explore this site and, if you happen to turn the pages of our brochure, you will find Lisl’s artful hand in the design. We wouldn’t look the same without her!
Richard White
Richard White

Richard has worked in a career in tourism for the last 9 years and is dedicated to delivering excellent service, be it in the field sharing his knowledge of mammals or birds or via office communications. Initially, tourism was for Richard guiding in luxury lodges in both South Africa and Ecuador and based in some of the most diverse areas in Africa and South America he honed a passion for botany, birds and indeed all things wild. Richard then began his career in Avitourism at Rockjumper Birding Tours and then developed his career further turning to the running of tours operations. Richard’s passion for conservation recently culminated in a Masters Degree in Environmental Management augmenting the strong conservation ethic at Indri.
