Tour Leader Profile: Adam Riley
Adam has grown up with a lifelong interest in wildlife, which evolved into a particular fascination with the mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians of Africa and Madagascar.
Coming from a farming background in the Pietermaritzburg area of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, Adam Riley studied accountancy and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. For the last 10 years he has traveled extensively in Africa, Europe, Asia, Australasia and the Americas, leading trips to numerous countries ranging from South Africa to Egypt, Angola to Ethiopia, and Bhutan to Papua New Guinea. To top this off, Adam has also guided in the Neotropics for six months. Adam is now one of Africa's most experienced birders, having seen 2000 species on the continent. Adam founded Rockjumper Birding Tours (Indri's sister company) in 1998 and is the Managing Director of the company. Adam's passion and interest in mammals led him to form Indri "Ultimate Wildlife Tours".
