Tour Leader Profile: Simon Bellingham
Simon's infectious enthusiasm combined with excellent field
and people skills make traveling with him nothing but a delight.
Simon Bellingham developed a passion for wildlife as a young child
growing up in rural Zimbabwe. Although he has a Master's Degree in
Chiropractic, and has worked for a number of years in the field, his
passion for nature could not keep him away from the outdoors. Simon has worked in luxury game lodges, most notably Richard Branson's
Ulusaba reserve in the Sabi Sands bordering the Kruger National Park. He
has guided many celebrities during his time, including Kofi Anan, Mary
Robinson, Graca Michel, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Jimmy Wales and Nigel
Marven, and during his time at Ulusaba was always requested to guide
Richard Branson and his family. It was during a visit to Ulusaba that
Adam Riley realized Simon's potential and invited him to help set up and
direct Indri.
