We thought the whole trip was absolutely fabulous.  It was well organized, ran smoothly as there are many factors to co-ordinate on a trip like that.  The wildlife we saw was awesome, nature at its best... no signs of pollution. Thank you for coordinating this trip and giving us so much useful information before hand and your great organization. There always seemed to be a lively enthusiastic response from you to my emails, somehow it is not just a reply as many tour operators give... Well done!

It was a wonderful trip. You all did a wonderful job with it. I would have been very happy with one Jaguar but so many both anteaters many otters 23 mammals all together.That was superb. Also so many birds the herons were great plus all the others. Iguazu Falls were breath taking!  The lodges were very good especially Caiman. It stands by itself. Markus was as always Markus. We liked Paula very much and was very helpful. It was a great trip!!

Thank you for a truly wonderful trip.  What an amazing experience to see a giant panda in the wild and so close. It was for me, however, more than an adrenaline - pumping experience. It was a great priviledge, a priviledge to be in the realm of the panda and an even greater one to be given the opportunity of seeing one. I hope that both this experience and priviledge will reaffirm my commitment to helping the often struggling animals of this world.

Simon Bellingham was the perfect guide for us - apart from being most competent in all tour related matters, he also managed very well to get even Fiamma interested and fascinated. He also improvised very well when needed - such as when he gained access to our hotel even when all routes were officially closed due to a sporting event. Simon had been highly recommended to us by our friend from Brazil, and he exceeded all our expectations - well done Simon, and thank you very much!

We thoroughly enjoyed our guide!  Very skilled at locating both mammals and birds.  Outstanding personality and fun!  Exceptional and diverse wildlife viewing experiences! Our group had the most spectacular and memorable experiences of the trip occurring during this time (full and prolonged view of a jaguar drinking from the river at dusk, and a mating pair in full view on an adjacent beachfront).

Overall we were very fortunate, but could have just as easily gone home without a panda sighting, but I knew that going into the tour. Simon was determined to get everyone onto a panda.  I enjoyed Simon’s company and hope to have him guide me in Brazil in 2012.

Let me just say that the trip amply fulfilled our expectations.  Gavin was an outstanding trip leader, as were the local guides/drivers. Gavin was an excellent guide, and we really appreciated his knowledge and insights into the animals and their behaviour as well as his birding skills.  The local guides were excellent, too, especially Steven in Tanzania – he was outstanding, really knowledgeable and enthusiastic.  Altogether an excellent trip, and a good group of participants.

The INDRI office was very helpful and prompt, and did a great job of arranging our trip. Ngala indeed lived up to its description. We had excellent wildlife sightings, with particularly impressive sightings (twice!) of Wild Dog that far exceeded expectations. Four Rosmead in Cape Town is beautiful, and we would highly recommend it for clients wanting a quiet, small, high quality B&B. James Kydd made all the difference in our visit to the Cape Town area. We appreciated his low-key approach and expertise, not only in regard to the flora and fauna, but also cultural information—including where to eat. He really went far above and beyond our expectations.

As you may well be aware of the beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater, picture the scene... It's about 8am, it had been raining all night, but had stopped about 15 minutes earlier, we had entered the crater, dropped through the clouds, past the rain forest crater edge, everything is glistening after the rain, all clean and fresh, then as the trees cleared and the crater base comes into view, we the round the corner and are surrounded by yellow flowers, the sun breaks through a cloud, the Zebra crossed the red dirt road, it looks back at us, as the rainbow is formed straight over its head............I got about 5 pictures off. Awesome, you couldn't dream it up......

I would (and will!) highly recommend this tour, my expectations were well exceeded. I think the value for money of the tour was excellent.  I really appreciated all the effort Gavin put in to ensure that we all had a good time on this tour. It was obvious that he is well trained (hospitality as well as birds and wildlife) and takes the role and responsibility of being a guide seriously. His sense of humour added to the experience. The drivers in both Kenya and Tanzania were great as well! Friendly, professional, and patient with great skill at spotting wildlife.

We had a brilliant experience in Madagascar!   What a privilege to see the magnificent bio diversity of this place.  Given the country's infrastructure and distance between reserves, the itinerary alterations made a tremendous positive difference.  We had excellent and prolonged views of 20 lemur species, and saw a large number of birds, chameleons, geckos, and frogs.  Just fantastic!  Markus is an excellent guide, but we expected nothing less! We were very excited to see the lemurs in particular, and despite having had some incredible wildlife viewing experiences prior to this tour, our expectations were exceeded!

This was the best trip I have ever taken. Everything exceeded my expectations. I was worried about logistics and our guide made it go incredibly smoothly. He took care of everything and made it seem effortless. He was the best guide I have ever had for many different reasons. Not only does he display incredible enthusiasm and knowledge of the area, but he also managed to learn about us and what interests us, and even what makes us comfortable on the trip. He also ... told us lots about plants, insects, etc. as well as cultural aspects. I particularly enjoyed how excited he would get when we saw certain animals. He clearly enjoys his work... He even helped me practice my Malagasy! After a few days, he seemed like a friend along for the ride and not just our guide.

Just returned home this afternoon after our trip to Brazil. It was a great trip in every way - all details worked well and both leaders were outstanding. More later, but we did see and photograph Jaguar, Giant Otter, Giant Anteater, Southern Tamandua, Giant Snipe, Crowned Eagle, Spotted Bamboowren, Slaty Bristlefront, Sharpbill, Long- trained Nightjar, Black-throated Piping-Guan, Pavonine Cuckoo, and many more, plus saw Maned Wolf, Tapir, all the 'big five' antshrikes, etc. About 450 birds, 23 mammals... we liked the fact that both Marcelo and Edson adapted the planned program to better fit our needs, when requested.

Extremely satisfied and "WOW" best describes our marvellous African adventure. Fraser made the trip a wonderful experience. His in-depth knowledge and insights into all aspects of mammals, birds, history, geology, bioversity, etc made each day an exciting, memorable event. When we next return, we would definitely want Fraser as our guide. After the first day, we became a little concerned regarding the arduous travel schedule and number of one night stays; however, Fraser's persona made it all work. Looking back, the itinerary (even though there were some long drive days) was perfect for a first experience of Africa. Our driver/guide, Geitan, provided a superb bonus feature. In addition to being a gifted driver, he was knowledgeable, alert, personable and a perfect match with Fraser. I can imagine extreme difficulties associated with six people together in a land cruiser for 15 days, but in this case it all worked well. Accommodations and meals were well above what we expected. The Serena lodges were excellent, but we enjoyed the extra space provided in the Sopa lodges. The setting and newness of the Samburu Simba made it the best even with the lack of ventilation in the bathroom. This was a great first experience with the INDRI organization.

Just wanted to thank you both for all the flawless arrangements ... on the safari portion of our trip to South Africa.  The flights were perfect, as were the camps.  We had a fabulous time at Dulini and Ngala Tented Camp and would highly recommend both.  Of course it would have been virtually impossible not to have a fabulous time since both camps had wild dog dens, with pups which were 8 weeks old (Dulini) and 4 weeks old (Ngala)!

Just to thank you again for such a wonderful tour. We all enjoyed it so much and Markus is a grand guide. He knows so much about everything. Of course I was so happy to see the Meerkats and they were so close to us... We saw so many birds and the animals were just fantastic and so close could just about touch them. The lodgings were all great and we really enjoyed the boat. It was a great way to end the trip. All went very smoothly even the flying. It was amazing that you could do all that and (have it) all turn out so well.

First of all, we had the best time EVER.   The TOP of the trip was Ulusaba, the lodge is amazing, their staff was always prepared to help us regarding everything and the safari was excellent. Also, the room at the lodge and the food/wine was very very good. We had a perfect time there and were very happy that we could stay one more day.  We enjoyed very much all of our days in Cape Town, its a very pretty city with many things to do and with very good food/wine!  And regarding Indri services, everything was excellent..  Again, we had the perfect honeymoon, incredible days that we will never forget.
