“Just returned home this afternoon after our trip to Brazil. It was a great trip in every way - all details worked well and both leaders were outstanding. More later, but we did see and photograph Jaguar, Giant Otter, Giant Anteater, Southern Tamandua, Giant Snipe, Crowned Eagle, Spotted Bamboowren, Slaty Bristlefront, Sharpbill, Long- trained Nightjar, Black-throated Piping-Guan, Pavonine Cuckoo, and many more, plus saw Maned Wolf, Tapir, all the 'big five' antshrikes, etc. About 450 birds, 23 mammals... we liked the fact that both Marcelo and Edson adapted the planned programme to better fit our needs, when requested.”
