Our Orcas & Pumas mammal tour is perfectly timed for one of nature’s most famous dramas as Orcas rush onto the beaches of the Valdés Peninsula to grab hapless Sealion pups. We will however not neglect the other fascinating mammals of this region which range from tiny Hairy Armadillos to inquisitive Commerson’s Dolphins. Torres del Paine is arguably the most reliable site for seeing Pumas and here we will make a concerted effort to observe these secretive felines. Other highlights here might include Geoffroy’s Cat and the rare Andean Deer. Our Blue Whale extension takes us to Chiloe Island where significant numbers of the largest creature to have ever graced our planet are now known to gather. Again, we will also take time to search for the other residents of this remote area which range from otters to tiny wild cats.
