This journey traverses sensational crater scenery, expansive grasslands and tropical forests in the heart of the African continent. Today, Uganda is a welcoming country with the star wildlife attractions being the Gorilla and Chimpanzee viewing. In the wondrous forest of Kibale we search for our closest living relative, the Chimpanzee, while in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest we will sit amongst some of the planet’s last remaining Mountain Gorillas. Spending time with these great apes is, without a doubt, one of the most exciting and emotional wildlife experiences on Earth. Uganda is also home to an impressive suite of other readily viewed big game species including Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Cape Buffalo, Hippopotamus and Giant Forest Hog to name a few.
